Hoy Scientific was founded in 1995 by Ole Hoy and 11 years later - in 2006 – another company saw the light of day, named Hoy Scandinavian. The main area of business of these two companies was import of products for Nuclear departments, PET and Cyclotron Centres and other communities applying isotopes, radiation protection and products for Radiation Therapy and X-ray departments.

Hoy Scandinavian develops and manufactures ”Hoy Exclusive”, a new in-house product line - offering quality products for radiation protection in Nuclear Medicine and PET departments. The product portfolio has a modern timeless Scandinavian design (some of the products are even patented) and offers maximum ergonomic comfort aligned to European standards.

Over the last few years the company has expanded its activities strongly in the field of development and sales of customized assignments such as desk/wall/waste coverings, custom-made lead glass (dimension and thickness), Hot Cells, alterations and moving of Radiochemistry departments.

Hoy Scientific is also a supplier of custom-made solutions in packaging (in large or small numbers) of radioactive shipments.

The company imports and represents instruments with applications in Nuclear Medicine and PET departments in Scandinavia.

2011 - And In The Future

The company offers personal, committed guidance and development of equipment - and employs today 4 staff – of which 2 are engaged with direct sales. When it comes to larger tasks, services are outsourced to draw on more highly trained technicians with many years of experience.
The company has a very close cooperation with a local Machine Shop who has great expertise in turn and mill tasks and knows how to work with lead and tungsten.
